Instructions
How to Use:
- Place pad with the plastic side down in an area that is easy for your dog to access, away from his food and sleeping area.
- Familiarize your dog with his new potty area by placing him on the pad periodically throughout the day.
- Reward your dog when he handles his business on the pad. Dispose of soiled pads and replace with the fresh ones.
- If your dog accidentally eliminates somewhere other than the pad, quickly place him on the pad and offer some words of encouragement. Never punish your dog for missing the target.
- Once the pad becomes a familiar potty place, move the pad closer to an outside door, ultimately placing the pad outdoors. Once the pad is outdoors, your dog will easily adjust to the freedom of going potty outside.
